MAKASSAR - For the first time, PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) hosted Airport Ambassador Selection 2016 followed by 13 airports under its management including the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport Makassar.
The event was warmly discussed, in practice starting the registration phase from 12-15 May 2016 ago. By utilizing all forms of publications such as National Print Media, distribution of brochures at the College in Makassar, as well as on the dissemination of information in social media and publications at Videotron of SHIAM Terminal, the committee recorded there were 17 participants who ran for 2016 Airport Ambassador.
The registration phase followed by audition phase which was held on 16-17 May 2016 at Hotel Grand City, Acacia Ballroom - Makassar. At this stage, aided by Agus Budiharto (Angkasa Pura), Safruddin (Department of Culture and Tourism of South Sulawesi Province), Gadis Haerunisa & Indri Wijaya (Princess Airports 2012) and Suci Septiati Bakri (Princess Airports 2013) as the jury who will make an assessment in terms of Documents Administrative, Physical Examination, Interview and Talent Test to refine the finalists to 8 people who will participate in the grand final stage held today, Thursday (19/5).
Hasriani Ayu Lestari (22 yo.) from Makassar, Halifah Intania (20 yo. ) from Toraja, and Grace Florencia Parinding (22 yo.) from Rantepao sequentially the girls chosen as Airports Ambassador of SHIAM which will follow the quarantine in Bali and will compete with other airport representatives under PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero).
"For eight finalists who qualify until the grand final stage will be awarded Certificate of Appreciation and for the three finalists beside getting a certificate also will be awarded cash assistance", General Manager Mr. Akhmad Munir SHIAM said, also as honorable jury at the grand final stages of the event.
Mr. Akhmad Munir added, "I am very pleased to see the election of Ambassador Airport is running very well. We believe that the representatives of SHIAM able to compete in the competition continued in the upcoming Bali," he said.
